A prewar Wisconsin home on a quiet street
The practice

Independent, Wisconsin-owned, and unbounded by any one suburb.

CHE Realty & Design LLC is a boutique brokerage founded by Chevonna Davis — based in Milwaukee, licensed across the whole state, and deliberately small enough that you always know who is holding your file.

A Wisconsin home photographed for listing
Why it exists

Founded on a complaint about how the job was being done.

Chevonna Davis watched the same thing happen over and over: a house would be won with an optimistic price, marketed thinly, reduced twice, and finally sold in month five for less than a correct price in week one would have produced. The client rarely understood why.

CHE Realty & Design opened on the premise that the fix was not better software or a bigger team. It was doing the unglamorous parts properly — the pricing homework, the walkthrough, the preparation list — and taking on fewer files so there was time to.

The second premise was that a client should not be turned away over geography. Plenty of agents work a handful of suburbs and refer everything else out. This practice is licensed for the entire state and works it: Milwaukee and the North Shore, Madison, the Fox Valley, Door County, the Northwoods, the driftless southwest. If the property is in Wisconsin, the homework gets done.

Who you will work with

A small bench, and what each one is for.

Chevonna leads every file herself. On a transaction of any complexity you will hear from at least two of us in the same week — wherever in the state the property sits.

Realtor & Founder

Founded CHE Realty & Design on the theory that fewer clients handled properly beats more clients handled quickly — and that no client should be turned away over geography. Personally sets the pricing strategy on every listing the practice takes, anywhere in the state.

What we hold to

Four commitments, and we will be measured on them.

01

No line on the map

Licensed across all seventy-two Wisconsin counties. Your address does not decide whether you get represented, and you will not be handed to a stranger because you moved outside somebody’s farm area.

02

We say the number out loud

Including when it is lower than you hoped, and including when it means we do not get the listing. A price you can defend is worth more than a price that flatters you.

03

The person you hire does the work

No handing your file to an assistant after the listing agreement is signed. The person who priced your house is in it on Sunday.

04

One percent goes back

Every closing sends one percent of the commission to a local cause in the county the sale came from, most often chosen by the client.

Next step

Come see whether we are a fit.

Half of these conversations end with us telling someone their timing is wrong or their current agent is doing fine. That is a good outcome too.
